Ideal for vehicle windshields, the RAM-B-166-UN10U consists of a 3.3" diameter RAM Twist-Lock suction cup base, medium length double socket arm, and the popular spring-loaded RAM X-Grip large phone holder. The RAM X-Grip features an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. Made of powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and high-strength composite, this large version of the RAM X-Grip fits phones ranging from 1.75" to 4.5" in width and keeps your device completely functional and accessible. RAM ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve the ideal viewing angle – while also extending the life of your phone by providing shock and vibration damping. For outdoor applications, the RAM X-Grip includes a device tether that is recommended for added security and peace of mind.

Proper Suction Cup Installation

Step 1: Thoroughly Clean Surface

Using glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, thoroughly clean the desired area you wish to install the mount.

Step 2: Push Suction Cup Onto Surface

Push the suction cup base onto the surface and push against the glass while holding the twist lock to the OFF position. It is crucial you hold the base firmly and flush against the glass to ensure proper suction.

Step 3: Twist to Lock

While continuing to hold the suction base flush against the glass, use your thumb and index finger to twist the lock to the ON position. Tug on the base a little to make sure it is suctioned to the surface and not loose

Step 4: Attach Socket Arm & Holder

Attach any B size socket arm to the base and your desired device holder to complete your mount installation.
